This rescue is such a really good place for that kind of horses. They need somewhere to go and be loved. I've just been there a couple times but i have noticed that all the horses want to be helped, you just have to be patient and to listen them. They are adorable ! You really need to visit the Rescue and i think that you could find the horse/pony you have always wanted to have.
I'm working with the horses of the rescue just for a couple weeks and i spent a lot of time with the mare DREAMER. She really needs to be loved and listened to because if you just take the time with her, she has a lot of things to tell you. And under her shy mask, she has a really big heart which just wants to show a person who will love her just for the mare she is and not the mare this person wants her to be. |

| hey guys, I adoptedd paso a few weeks ago and wanted to give you an update.I rode him for the first time on saturday and it's no exageration to say that he is the best a most enjoyable horse i have ever ridden!!!! It took awhile for him to get there,he pitched a fit in the snaffle bit and acted very spooked. So we decided to try him in a hackamore and instantly his head came down and he was a lot more accepting.after about a half hour i had him walking calmly, then he easily went from walk, trot,to canter(or the paso equivalent) and right back down to a trot with voice commands and a little half halt.his gait is unbelievable smooth and controled and because of my cerebral palsy he is a perfect fit for me.He even lets me get down on my hands and knees to pick his feet!I could go on but this was supposed to be a quick update.thank you guys very much!! hopefully we'll be stopping in soon and I can give you all the details. |

| I have driven by the rescue many times and wondered if it would be okay to stop. Now that I have seen the website, I definitely will. I would like to meet Flip Flop in person - she is adorable! Wish I had time and opportunity to volunteer - maybe in the future. Thank you for helping these noble animals. |

| I just finished going through this website. What wonderful stories about the horses, past and present. Congratulations to Lenny and Brenda (another wonderful story) I might add. I live in NY; however, when I was a child I lived in the Southern part of Maine (Falmouth Foreside) and did occasionally go riding in the spring and fall. I love horses and so wish I could be back there again and help out at a rescue. God Bless and have a great upcoming winter season. Donna L. |

I would simply like to say thank you for all the work that you do not only for your horses but all of your animals. Lenny and Brenda, thank you for letting me stay in the cabin last weekend, I would love to do it again sometime. I would love to be around for the training of the horses and perhaps learn from it and take part if possible. I hope to be able to visit again this weekend if rides can be set up. I'll be calling soon! Thanks again! These horses (and other animals) are blessed to have you in their lives. |

I love what you guys do for horses and I love coming over and helping out! I'm so glad I've been able to come the past 2 years and I hope to be able to make it much more this year! I love and adore Misty (and all of the others!) and I'm going to miss Goober. The horses are all so lucky to have you! I also totally have a bunch of pictures of the horses and all of us from UMF working hard from the past 2 Saturdays if you'd like them to post somewhere or just for your own collection. I'll be back again on Saturday! Can't wait! |

| I am Sonny's friend. Liberty was quite jealous of Lewie at first. They are best buddies now. We are working on his coat and Sonny had him in the harness Monday and he is as gentle there as he is in the stall. Now we will be looking for a small cart. Thank you again for these wonderful animals. |
